Carelessly

Carelessly emerged from a series of unexpected encounters between four musicians with

very different musical backgrounds: a self-taught lo-fi chamber-pop songwriter with a

confessional voice, an indie rock drummer with tight grooves, a jazz-trained pianist, and a

surf-rock veteran on bass. The result is an organic, atmospheric sound that moves between

indie folk and chamber pop, colored by warm neo-psychedelic textures and intimate

storytelling. With melodic songwriting and rich yet understated arrangements, the band

creates a dreamy, vintage-tinged soundscape that will resonate with fans of Andy Shauf,

Sam Evian, Chris Cohen and Luke Temple.

In March 2025, Carelessly released their debut EP Spring, which quickly caught the attention

of DR P6 Beat. Each season is represented by its own EP, featuring three tracks and named

accordingly. The four EPs will ultimately come together as a 12-track album titled Seasons.

Following the release of Spring, the band continued the series with Summer in August and

Autumn in November 2025. The final EP in the Seasons series, Winter (aka. Second

Spring), will be released on April 10, 2026.
