Border Breaks is a new concert series connecting upcoming artists across borders through mini-tours, where we present three different artists from three different countries.
With this project, we want to contribute to better collaboration and give artists a new platform outside their own borders.
This time, Border Breaks brings three exciting artists to Christianshavns Beboerhus for an evening of live music and new encounters.
Linnea Awad (SE)
Linnea Awad places herself on the verge between the most vulnerable human expression and the digital landscape where reality morphs into one’s and zero’s. The self-producing artist blends intimate personal vocal performances with unique electronic productions, bringing it all together in her cinematic and intimate live-performances, where the audience enters a sensual and personal universe.
ZERO BATS (NO)
ZERO BATS is a no wave/synthpunk duo from Oslo, Norway, creating experimental punk music. Fusing the sound of 80s post-punk and 90s alternative with modern industrial and club music, they are charting their own lane within contemporary rock.
They combine cyclical synthesizers, noisy guitar riffs, and confrontational lyrics to create a dark, intense, and psychedelic soundscape. Through their intense live performance and stage presence, ZERO BATS transform the concert venue into a dance floor.
Spawner (DK)
Spawner are a Copenhagen-based indie rock trio, consisting of Jonas Engell, Johan Danø Hoffmann and Ella Moreno Risell.
Their sound grows from the interplay of three distinct voices, fused into tight harmonies inspired by folk and country, before breaking into punk- and grunge-tinged guitars and raw indie rock.
The event runs from 19-00.
