AMMAR 808
AMMAR 808 is the electronic alter ego of Brussels-based producer Sofyann Ben Youssef. It is an attempt to capture new regions in music and meditate on change while projecting possible futures and pasts. His debut release, Maghreb United, featuring the singers Mehdi Nassouli (Morocco), Sofiane Saidi (Algeria) and Cheb Hassen Tej (Tunisia), he connects the two to offer a radical, electronic reinvention of ancient North African music. Immerse yourself in futuristic sounds, global inspirations and heavy dance grooves, with Tunesian roots, a cosmopolitical mind and a profound love for the deep groove of the legendary Roland TR-808 drum machine. LOW LOV
French-Cameroonian multimedia artist, LOW LOV works within raw and intimate poetry : music, jewellery, sculpture, video, performance and painting are all interconnected. Through this mix, she invites us to open the doors into a holistic sphere in order to welcome our inner creative power. Her first album, Bedroom Lexèmes, released on June 17, 2019, offers an experimental and eclectic style of music. From trap to cold wave, trip hop to sacred songs, Low Lov gives us a hybrid of sounds based on her spiritual and emotional research. Low Lov built a mixed environment full of diverse sounds and influences through her collaborations with friends and artists like Cody Perkins, DeadHorse, and Aske Andersen. In her perpetual quest of how music can heal us, Pink Cross finds new ways of permeating our physical and emotional spirits with ritualistic energy, excavating the grief of the heart to let it bloom. video links
