The duo explores the materiality of space by sculpting sound objects which are dynamically changing through interaction and improvisation. Subtle nuances alter the surface characteristics and boundaries of the objects, evoking a sensuous and tangible experience and creating an environment where the boundaries between the acoustic and electronic world become unclear. The piano, through the use of extended techniques, objects and microphones is explored in its timbral possibilities and serves as a surface for tactile explorations, often imitating the electronic world. The modular synthesizers take the form of physical masses, projecting the gravitational and material attributes of the sound with their formations.
By tracing the microlevel sound articulations and the through timbral explorations of acoustic and electronic intstruments, large scale forms are created where the momentary interpolates with the ever evolving. The music reflects the ephemeral, the transient state between future and past, inviting the listener to experience time as a superficial characteristic of reality.

ERICSON / NÄSTESJÖ / BERRE (NO/SE)
Med 9 internationale turneer i løbet af de sidste fire år, og koncerter ved bl.a. ved Copenhagen Jazzfestival, Vinterjazz, BlowOut i Oslo og Fem Jazz Festival i Banyoles, har trioen Ericson/Nästesjö/Berre begyndt at vække opmærksomhed rundt om i Skandinavien og Europa. Gruppen består af Sture Ericson (SE) – saxofoner og klarinet, Johannes Nästesjö (SE) – kontrabas og Håkon Berre (NO) – trommer. Ericson og Berre, begge med base i København, har arbejdet sammen i flere forskellige konstellationer i de seneste år som bl.a. Maria Faust Jazz Catastrophe. I efteråret 2014 mødte de bassisten Johannes Nästesjö fra Malmø og dannede trioen ENB. Med udgangspunkt i saxofon, klarinet, bas og trommesæt, samt diverse objekter og præparationer udforskes forskellige aspekter af fri improvisation. Dette har resulteret i et varieret lydlandskab med bred vifte af indflydelser spændende fra improvisationer med fokus på klanglige teksturer, til pitch-relateret, lineært spil med relationer til freejazz- og jazztraditionen. Trioen udgiver deres debut-CD “Ausfahrt
Freihalten!” på Barefoot Records den 11. marts, og markerer dette ved en uges lang turné igennem Polen og Tyskland 12.-17. marts. Udgivelsen bliver også markeret med release koncerter på Christianshavns Beboerhus i København den 27. april og på Galleri Ping-Pong i Malmö den 28. april.
